Obama did it... No, WE did it.

(My Vote For Obama)

Change is comming to America.

It finally happened. Senator Barack Obama, now, President Elect Barack Obama, won the
presidential race yesterday, by dominating the electoral map and showing that hope is more important than fear.

I've been a proud and outgoing supporter of Barack Obama, and have been their since Day 1. I have never doubted Barack Obama, merely the American people and their ability to vote for change and hope instead of anger, threats, fear, and more of the same.

Another giant leap for mankind. Of course, this is a moment that will live forever in history, because of Barack's heritage and race. He is the epitome of the American Dream. He doesn't own 10 houses, he owns 1. He doesn't own 7 or 8 cars, he and his wife have 1... combined.

He doesn't just talk, he inspires. He inspires us to do better, and be better, and act as Americans, and work together to make this country better. We can get out of this war, restore our economy, and make this country a better place than it has been in the last few years.

I can't wait to see how my generation, not the baby boomers or the hippies or anyone else, can show that we, the future, are able to transcend not just race. But truly more. Transcend gender, age, sexual orientation, background, who someone associates with, opinions, and beliefs to come together, and work together, and strive together to make our future better. The older generations had their chance, and we can see what they did for us, debt debt debt, war, racism, global warming, fear, crisis, and inflation to name a few. But now, its OUR turn.

Its our turn to show how not family, not friends, not Muslims, not Christians, not Jews, not
gays, not blacks, not whites, not liberals, not conservatives, not prolifers, not prochoicers, not
immigrants, not Americans, but PEOPLE, Human Beings, Citizens of the World, can come together, put our petty differences aside, and work together, and bleed together, and cry together, and at last succeed together, to make the world better than we received it.

We can stop wars, make peace. We can end the bickering over religions and instead appreciate 1 another for who we are. We can clean up our planet. We can be blind to skin color and background. That's what we can and will do. We have to. Or there won't be anything positive for our kids left in 30 years.

We can't wait for someone else to do it, we have to. We can't put off changing the world for the future generations, we are that generation. Its not a movement, its the future... its not Barack Obama, its us... Obama just happens to be the face and label we can put on it.

Let's get out and CHANGE THE WORLD!
